firstPRO has been named to
Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “Top 25 Women-owned Firms” in the city.
According to the
newspaper’s April 30-May 6 edition, firstPRO was ranked the 14
th largest woman-owned firm in Atlanta by revenue—a substantial increase from last year’s ranking of No. 20.
During one of the worst economic periods in recent memory, 2009, firstPRO did register revenue growth last year while many other firms lost revenue. In 2009, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle, firstPRO posted $32.9 million in revenue—an increase of $900,000 from the previous year.
The ranking comes as firstPRO prepares to release the Q1 Inside Hiring Report, an intelligence briefing on hiring trends in Atlanta, Philadelphia and other major cities. According to the report, overall hiring in all of firstPRO’s nine industries was up from Q1 2009 to Q1 2010.
firstPRO was founded by
April Fawcett Nagel in 1986 with just five employees. Today, the company employs more than 100 people.
